Support Group for Partners

Sex and Pornography Addiction, Education and Support Group. Zoom meetings, for female partners of men who are challenged by the use of pornography, chat lines, sex workers or multiple sexual encounters.

Our next group is planned for late 2022.  The sessions are for an hour and a half, fortnightly. Please message or call me for more information so we can register interest.

Some comments from recent group members:

  • “Joining the partners’ sessions had a huge positive impact for me at a time when I was feeling hopeless and ashamed.”
  • “The thing that helped me the most was the sharing as I recognised myself in every other woman’s story and learned lots just by listening. We are all different but we have so much in common!”
  • “Setting up the what’s app group allowed us to connect more and provide extra support…..”
  • Loved the education part too, have learnt so much, really helps with understanding the addiction, but also a lot of useful information was given to help us as partners move forward.”
  • “ … really going to miss this group. I am so much stronger now!”
  • I still keep in touch with all of the ladies from ‘our’ group. ..if it’s useful for you in support of your ongoing work please do share that I found it life changing. The comfort and strength that I found from the shared experiences of other brave women who I could relate to. The educational aspect from you and Joy was incredible; that in itself empowered me to make informed choices. Although I’m still healing, I’m no longer in an abusive relationship, trying to fix what I cannot change. From our work together I learned that he wasn’t ready to change, that sex addiction is real and how impactful it is. In a society that is still so misogynistic, your work is important; it changed my life, for me and my children.”
